'I told you we needed a shop cat': Wholesome mechanic hears tiny cries from car engine during test drive, finds a hidden kitten inside, adopts her, and makes her the shop's most meowrvelous mascot

We don't like taking our car to a mechanic for any reason. We always feel like they're scamming us because we know nothing about cars, and they could totally just be making up some random things to charge us extra. Who knows if it's true or not, but it's how we feel. We would, however, be much more likely to go to a mechanic's shop if they had a cute kitten mascot. You might be thinking that that's completely unreasonable, but we say to you: think again!

While test-driving a Mercedes, a mechanic heard tiny cries coming from the engine. What did they find inside, but a seriously smol, teeny-weeny kitten that was hidden in there. Now, this is where the story gets good - the mechanic adopted the kitty after it was clear that the cat and his dog were becoming fast friends, and even decided to make the kitty the official mascot of the mechanic shop.   • And even better yet, they named her Mercedes! That's a great name for a car. We mean cat. Well, it's a good name for both of them, technically. 10/10 would go to this repair shop just for Mercedes.

    kindredq That's how we found our kitty. I was driving around cutting lawns and I kept on hearing faint squeaks, till I heard a meow as I opened my hood. This little 2 month old kitty was on my axle, riding around at least for two hours on there. Took em back home, my youngest immediately took the kitty and happily ever after. Can't mess with the kitten distribution network. If you are slated to receive a kitten, the universe finds a way!
